Description
Seascape ROV Systems SEPIA-T8 is a powerful, battery-driven inspection ROV designed for demanding professional operations. Equipped with eight high-performance thrusters, it delivers exceptional manoeuvrability, stability and control in challenging underwater environments. Its rugged, impact-resistant HDPE body protects all critical BlueRobotics components, including the electronics housing, batteries, thrusters, and lighting systems, ensuring reliability when it matters most.
The advanced vector four-thruster configuration enables precise horizontal movement and smooth rotation, while four dedicated vertical thrusters provide controlled ascent and descent, forward and lateral tilting, and outstanding horizontal stability during operation. The result is accurate positioning and confident handling, even in dynamic conditions.
Powered by two easily replaceable rear-mounted batteries with a total capacity of 1200 Wh, the SEPIA-T8 offers impressive endurance. Depending on operating conditions, it delivers 2 to 6 hours of runtime and can maintain position for up to 2 hours in currents of 1.6 knots (0.8 m/s). With a maximum speed of 3.5 to 4 knots (1.7 to 2 m/s), it combines power with efficiency.
The SEPIA-T8 has a payload of 1.6 kg, making it mission-ready and future-proof, with dedicated expansion bays for optional add-ons including Multibeam Sonar, Imaging Scanning Sonar, USBL, GPS, Gripper, Cavitation Cleaning Lance, NDT Thickness Gauge and a Gimbal camera.
SEPIA-T8 is controlled via Cockpit, a modern, intuitive, customizable and cross-platform control interface.
NOTE: SEPIA-T8 is a custom-built product of SEASCAPE ROV SYSTEMS. The standard configuration comes WITHOUT a tether, hand controller, control interface, or tablet/PC extra add-ons.
Please note: SEPIA-T8 shown in the images has the Multi-Beam Sonar and Gripper installed as add-ons, but these are NOT included in the standard configuration.
