Description
The PVL Underwater Cutting Torch has been meticulously developed over a decade of testing in diverse underwater environments. Designed for unmatched performance, it enables divers to cut between 15 and 20 meters of material per hour, offering a faster and more efficient alternative to traditional cutting tools.
This cutting torch features a three-hose system for precise delivery of gas and oxygen, ensuring clean and accurate results. Operating on a 1:10 gas-to-oxygen ratio, the torch can achieve up to 600 meters of cutting before the cutting bracket needs replacement. Divers can choose between two torch angles—55° and 90°—tailored to individual preferences and operational needs.
The PVL Cutting Torch is provided as part of a comprehensive kit that includes two oxygen reducers and one gas reducers, all equipped with non-return features for enhanced safety. The kit also contains a robust carrying case, a specially designed underwater igniter, and durable 50-meter hoses. Despite its advanced capabilities, the torch remains lightweight and compact, making it easy to transport and use in various underwater settings.
Operating independently of electricity, the PVL torch eliminates the need for external power sources, improving safety and reliability. Its innovative design minimizes maintenance needs, reduces operational costs, and delivers consistent performance. Additionally, it avoids common issues such as incomplete cuts or risks like temporary blindness (arc eye) that are associated with other cutting systems.
Whether for construction, salvage, or specialized underwater tasks, the PVL Underwater Cutting Torch combines efficiency, precision, and durability, making it a valuable investment for professional divers.

Specifications
It is not possible to adjust the cutting flame under water. The flame is adjusted by changing the pressure reducers above the water.

As indicated in the table, the pressures for the cutting oxygen apply up to 25 mm material thickness. When cutting a thicker material, the pressure for the cutting oxygen can be raised without negative effects on the adjustment of the torch.
