Description
The RM rubber molded series is a connector used for underwater applications from Birns. The mold of the connectors is made from vulcanized neoprene that makes for a durable water tight seal. Each contact can be used on 600 volt and is capable of transferring at least 12 ampere.
The Inline connector have a 60cm cable as default, however we also have some that are longer. These are specified with the X2M code behind the name. This means that the cable is the length as specified. For example, the SCIL4FX2M is a SCIL4F with a 2 meter cable. Please find a detailed schematic of the naming convention in the datasheet.
The connectors are compatible with the same series from Seacon
Some specific needs can also be accommodated for:
- Vulcanize a connector to a custom cable.
- Create a cable with connectors on both ends. (a patch cable)
- Create an inline connector with a specific length of cable.
