The Metric Sealing Plug (Blank) is used to seal unused ports on underwater enclosures, ensuring watertight protection and maintaining system integrity. Machined from corrosion-resistant black anodized aluminum, it is compatible with Blu-Sub acrylic and aluminum tubes and available in multiple thread sizes (M6, M8, M10, M14, M16). Each unit includes a bulkhead, O-ring, and nut and is rated for depths up to 1,000 meters. These blanks are ideal for closing off unused ports and help simplify custom subsea builds where modularity and sealing are essential.
As an alternative for Unified National Fine thread ports, Blu-Sub also offers the UNF Sealing Plug (Blank). This version provides the same pressure-rated sealing performance for enclosures using Subconn-style or other UNF-format connectors. Available in stainless steel or anodized aluminum, the UNF variant is ideal for third-party panels and underwater systems requiring non-metric sealing solutions.
