Primum MSSM
The Birns MSSM is an exceedingly popular midsize-to-large connector. It is available with up to 40 contacts, all rated to withstand high open face pressure to 2,000m (2,950 PSI). Optional high-pressure Plug Caps and Receptacle Caps are available.
The MSSM-CP (Cable Plug) can be electrically or electro-mechanically terminated to a solid cable in 90º or 180º configurations, or to an oil-filled cable, using adapters 24K-007 (180º) or 24K-004 (90º). Some pin configurations are available with optional pressure relief valves to equalize pressure between the plug face and ambient.
