The Birns Protected Polymeric XSJ size is very popular for small, multiple-contact requirements, and is available with 2 to 9 contacts. The Bulkhead Receptacle’s mounting thread size is 9/16-18.

Cable Plugs are designed to be terminated and overmolded onto an electrical cable—we can also provide termination and overmolding.

The XSJ-PCH is an optional item which seals any configuration of Cable Plug when not in use.

Dummy Sealing Plugs (“blanking plugs”, “DSP”) are also available to seal the Receptacles. The item number of the DSP is the same as that for the Receptacle, except that the “-BR” is replaced with “-DSP”. (For example, the DSP for the XSJ-2-BR is item XSJ-2-DSP.)
