Description
The Hatch Base fastens and seals to the BlueBoat Hull and is compatible with the BlueBoat Hatch Lids. It’s available for use on the BlueBoat but can also be used on your own USV hull! The base includes latches and installation hardware for a single hull, but the Hatch Lids (port and starboard) are sold separately.
The Hatch Base uses a foam O-ring to seal to the hull and is held in place with the backing plate and hardware included. It’s symmetric and identical on the port and starboard sides of the boat, so you’ll need two of these for a pair of hulls.
The Hatch Base is designed to fit the cutout on the top of the BlueBoat hull, but you can also cut the same shape as other USV hulls or containers to install the hatch! The backing plate can be used as a template for the required shape.
